Scan a Paper Inspection Form

If you prefer pen and paper in the field, you can still keep digital records. Photograph your completed inspection sheet and BeeKeepPal reads it and fills in the answers for you.

To scan a paper form

1. Open the beehive the sheet belongs to.
2. Tap Add Inspection, then choose Scan Paper Form.
3. Take a photo of the completed sheet, or choose one from your gallery.
4. Review the filled-in form and correct anything that was read wrongly.
5. Tap Save.

Getting a good result

• Lay the sheet flat on a plain surface in good light.
• Fit the whole page in the photo, with no fingers or shadows over the writing.
• Write clearly and keep one beehive per sheet.
• Printing the BeeKeepPal inspection form, or your own custom form, gives the most accurate results because the fields match.

Scanned forms count as inspections like any other. They feed your hive scores, reports and AI insights.
