View Apiaries

In this sub-section, you see a list of your apiaries and a few details about them. In the display panel of this page, BeeKeepPal gives you a list of your apiaries arranged in alphabetical order. Details you see about respective apiaries are the name of the apiary, a picture of the apiary, date the apiary was established, number of beehive in the apiary, name of the location of the apiary, address of the apiary’s location, latitude and longitude of the apiary. BeeKeepPal fetches this information from data you input when adding apiaries to your account on the software. Make sure to be accurate with the information you enter into the software.

The upper section of the View Apiaries sub-section has the Title of the page, and a search bar. You are able to search for apiaries byname using the search bar. The search is live as you type in every character. On the extreme right hand side corner of the title bar, there is an Add Apiary button. Use it to add more apiaries to your BeeKeepPal company account.

Apiaries in the View Apiaries list are presented in individual panels. At the top left corner of individual panels are three (3) dots arranged in a vertical formation. Click on these dots to see more options for managing and viewing information about your apiaries. Clicking on the dots gives you a dropdown menu of three (3) options; View hives, Edit and Delete. To hide the dropdown menu, click on the three (3) dots again, or on any space away from the dropdown menu.

Click on View Hives to go to a page on which you will see all the beehives in the respective apiary. The Edit option takes you to a page where you edit the details about the selected apiary.

Only use the delete option on this menu if you are very sure you want to remove an apiary from BeeKeepPal. It is advisable to first remove beehives attached to the apiary on BeeKeepPal from association with the apiary before deleting the apiary. Clicking on Delete causes blacking out of the page and a pop-up panel titled Remove Apiary is shown. In the bottom right area of the Remove Apiary panel, Click on Yes if you are sure you want to remove the apiary from BeeKeepPal. The pop-up panel disappears, the page stops being blacked out, and a green pop-up notification appears at the bottom of the display screen informing you that the apiary was successfully removed. Removing an apiary in BeeKeepPal is not reversible.
